Around 80 Grannies wives, girlfriends and prospective members attended the first event in recent years away from the Cluttons Boardroom!. Anthony Russell very kindly arranged the venue and everyone there seemed to have a good time. Bob Percival gave a speech and presented the rogers trophy to Adam Newton for his outstanding performance in taking 7 wickets to beat Leigh. Mention was also made of Alistair Gordon's bike ride round the various rugby Premiership grounds in aid of Prostate Cancer and also Sam Weston Simon's running the Marathon des Sables which he did coming 183. Both of these efforts are superb and worthy of support. Web sites are available.
